Giving Back to the Society is the Purpose of Getting Rich

Contrary to our belief that rich people are evil, they are the most generous people in this world. I know most of you know Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Rockefeller and other world billionaires who donated billions of dollars for various charitable organisation of their choices.

Robert Kiyosaki’s teachings thru his cashflow quadrant and Rich Dad Poor Dad book says that when you become rich, it is your responsibility to give it back to the society. That’s why when you play the cashflow game, you will notice all charitable organizations on the fast track where rich people can participate and donate money without any profit.

Bo Sanchez have almost the same teachings. For him, we have to make ourselves rich so that we can serve the LORD with our money. That is why he is spending most of his earnings to various ministries, outreach programs, home for the aged and other charitable acts.

I am also giving back to the society in my own small way thru the World Vision organization. I’ve been a sponsor for around 3 years now with 5 children whom I supported financially monthly. I don’t know these children personally, but they are sending me updates about their current well being. They are aged 3 to 10 now, living in various provinces in the Philipines. My wife also share her part by sponsoring 3 children.

From Bo Sanchez, I have learned the true meaning of being truly rich. Though I am not rich yet, I claim myself as one. That’s how the law of attraction works. He said that “Our goal is to be rich not to buy luxuries for ourself, but to serve the Lord with the money that we have.”

I have wrote my own financial goal last month which I am planning to accomplish till the age of 40. That’s my planned age of retirement, reaping the benefits of what I have earned from my investment. If all goes well, I am planning to spend part of my money caring for small children in a less privilege situation or other similar circumstances. I also have my own story which I don’t wan’t other children to experience. And for that, I will work hard to accomplish it.

In case you might asked, World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organizationdedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Check their site for sponsorship details.

We don’t need to be rich to start giving back to the society. We can start on our own small way and make it bigger. This is my purpose of getting rich. What’s yours?

P.S. A year ago, I do not know anything about investment. Then I joined Truly Rich Club by Bo Sanchez. It was the best decision I ever made in my life. Brother Bo is a spiritual preacher and at the same time, financial literacy advocate whose purpose is to help people become rich in order to serve the LORD with the money that they have. He guided me along the way, explaining how I can manage my money and make it work hard for me. Now I’m investing in stocks and mutual funds and have a clear path for my future. Soon I’ll open UITF account as well. All are made possible by his guidance and teachings on every steps to become an investor. Being OFW isn’t forever, this is my EXIT PLAN. It’s amazing how his teachings change my life. I’m inviting you to join the club too, JOIN TRULY RICH CLUB. If you have any question, feel free to leave your comment below. CLICK HERE TO JOIN
